Short Action Right Hand Savage Axis

The Choate stock has a full-length bedding block. Improved stainless steel recoil lug which gives more contact with the slot in the bottom of the receiver, which makes for less flex between rifle and stock. Recoil lug is fully supported by the Aluminum bedding block. 

Our proven full length Aluminum bedding block is machined from a solid piece of Aluminum, this gives the stock a rock solid platform for mounting the rifle. 

Adjustable length of pull spacer system can be adjusted from 12 1/2 to 13 1/4 inches with the one ¼ inch and one ½-inch spacers that come with the stock. You can get additional spacers to get a maximum length of pull of 14 1/4 inches. Comes with soft one inch rubber recoil pad. 

The stock has our standard T-rail on bottom of forend to attach bipods, Picatinny rails and accessories. Side mounted sling swivels on both sides of the stock, makes the rifle more comfortable to carry over the shoulder or across the back. 

Uses the Savage Factory Axis detachable magazine that comes with your rifle.
